Spring In The Garden
The garden is waking up. Our new selections of bamboos are turning green — too early, I think. We will need to watch what happens in the next month.
Tulips, crocus, and daffodils have emerged and moving quickly. Weeds are growing also. Now is the time to control those early winter annuals, before they set seed.
Our cover crops are looking great. We will try planting directly into some of the cover crops this year and monitor weed control and growth of plants selected for cover crop study.
